The things people ask us first.
Are you a registered NDIS provider?
Yes. Compassionate Life Care Services Pty Ltd (ABN 20 627 794 076) is a registered NDIS provider, which means we can support participants whose plans are NDIA managed, plan managed or self managed.
How quickly can support start?
For most standard supports we can begin within one to two weeks of your first call. High-intensity and nurse-delegated supports take a little longer because we complete a clinical assessment and train the workers on your specific protocols first.
Can I choose my support workers?
Yes, and we think you should. We introduce you to workers before their first shift, and if it is not the right match you tell your coordinator and we change it. You never have to have that conversation with the worker yourself.
Do you support participants with high or complex needs?
We do. We are registered for High-Intensity Care (Module 1) and Behavioural Support (Module 2a), covering areas such as complex bowel care, PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, ventilation and seizure management, all with registered nurse oversight.
What areas do you cover?
Greater Sydney from our Dover Heights office, and metropolitan Adelaide from Port Noarlunga, Gulfview Heights and Wayville. If you are just outside these areas, call us — we will tell you honestly whether we can staff it well.
What if I need to cancel a shift?
Let us know as early as you can and we will reschedule. Cancellation charges follow the NDIS Pricing Arrangements, and your coordinator will explain exactly how they apply before you sign a service agreement.
How do I make a complaint?
Tell your coordinator, or email info@compassionatelifecare.com.au and it goes to management directly. You can also contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at any time — using our process never limits that right.
